01 · The challenge
Carbon Affinity needed a robust, scalable platform to deliver their climate reporting and advisory tools to European advisory firms, but their existing solution was difficult to maintain and slow to onboard new users. They needed a platform that could seamlessly handle complex data processing and provide a user-friendly experience, all while adhering to strict European data privacy regulations.
02 · What we built
We built a completely new web platform using modern JavaScript technologies and a microservices architecture. This allowed us to modularize the platform, making it easier to update and maintain, and to scale specific components based on demand. We prioritized ease of use through a streamlined user interface and intuitive data visualization tools.
03 · The result
The new platform enabled Carbon Affinity to onboard new advisory firms 3x faster, significantly reducing their customer acquisition cost. The platform also demonstrably improved user engagement as measured by longer average session duration and higher usage of key features. Carbon Affinity reports increased client retention as a result of being able to demonstrably drive value for advisory firms.
