Petzoo.lk is a full-stack e-commerce platform developed for the pet care industry, with a focus on aquatics and general pet supplies. The project involved designing a modern brand identity, UI/UX system, and responsive web interface optimized for product discovery and online shopping. The development included a modular homepage layout, category-based product browsing, custom product presentation assets, and a membership loyalty system. Visual components such as product cards, category icons, promotional banners, and branded UI elements were designed to maintain a consistent and scalable design system. The platform emphasizes clean interface design, brand-driven visuals, and performance-focused frontend implementation to create an engaging shopping experience for pet owners. The project demonstrates capabilities in UI design, branding integration, component-based layout development, and e-commerce interface architecture.

Time-Based QR Menu for 'La Trattoria'

Local restaurant, 18 staff

ReactNode.jsMongoDBExpress.jsAWS S3QR Code API

Challenge

La Trattoria, a popular Italian restaurant, had separate menus for lunch and dinner. Managing the physical menus was time-consuming and wasteful, as staff had to manually switch them over. They wanted a system that would automatically display the correct menu based on the time of day to improve efficiency and reduce printing costs.

What we built

We developed a dynamic QR code menu system for La Trattoria. This system utilizes a single QR code displayed at each table that, when scanned, directs customers to a web-based menu. The menu content automatically switches between the lunch and dinner options based on a pre-defined schedule set in a content management system (CMS).

Result

La Trattoria reduced its menu printing costs by 70% and freed up staff time previously spent on menu management. Customers now have access to the correct menu at all times, improving their dining experience. The restaurant reported a small uptick in average order value during dinner service thanks to a more visible and attractive dinner menu.
